By 2050, climate change will cost India 2.8% of GDP

Climate change is real and it could cost India 2.8% of its GDP by 2050 if no measure has been taken. The temperature will rise 1.5-3 degrees, monsoon will be affected and overall it will cost 2.8% of India’s GDP. The standard of living of half the country’s population will be affected as a result of this, according to a World Bank report. 600 million people in India are living in potentially severe hotspots.
