Cronyism scandal affecting Japanese PM’s popularity

Since Shinzo Abe became Prime Minister in 2012, the first time his ratings are record low of 27.6% in a survey, following the controversy of his role in the alleged cronyism scandal. Over the weekend, more than 50,000 people in Tokyo have called Abe a “liar”, post the revelation of his Finance Minister about faking documents to sell state-owned land to private educational institutions.
