Ed Sheeran seeks compensation for 'damaged reputation' from a musician

Musician Sam Chokri, who accused singer Ed Sheeran for copying his 2015 song, 'Oh Why', is now being sued by Sheeran for damaging his reputation and affecting his royalties. On May 10, the Performance Rights Society had ruled in favour of Chokri's accusation, which lead to Sheeran losing 20 million pounds in revenue for his song 'The Shape of You'. Sheeran has submitted a complaint to the high court for compensation.
