Former Indian cricketer dies of heart attack while playing

43-year-old Rajesh Ghodge, a former Goa Ranji Trophy cricketer, who also scored 76 runs in two first-class matches for his debut in the 1999-2000 season, has died after suffering a massive heart attack. Ghodge collapsed on the field at around 3 pm during a Margao Cricket Club (MCC) tournament match and was declared dead when brought to the hospital. He was at the non-striker’s end after scoring 31 runs.
