Only 17 out of 80 Diwali Ads broke women stereotypes roles: Study

As per the new study, only 21% of advertisements this Diwali represented women as independent, high-earning individuals while remaining show women as domestic, performing household chores, cooking and serving food or otherwise. Women faced biasedness in advertisements in many categories and products. For instance, despite an increase in women drivers, men always showed driving a car.
