Viswanathan Anand out of Chess World Cup

Former world champion Viswanathan Anand bows out in the second round of the Chess World Cup 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia on Thursday. Anand settles for a draw in a must-win game against Anton Kovalyov of Canada. He missed a chance to challenge nemesis Magnus Carlsen in the World Championship which he would get after entering finals of World cup. Meanwhile, Vidit Gujrathi reached the 3rd round.
